Viva Interior Design is a small company headed by Claire McCallum, which specialises in space planning and layout design, with a strong focus on 3d conceptual design and interior renovation.

Having studied for 4 years at Nelson Mandela University (Port Elizabeth), and after graduating in 2011, she has since been working for well known architectural and design firms in Cape Town specialising in high end residential projects.  She subsequently decided to take on a new challenge of focusing on Viva full time, and launched the company to a wider audience.

Claire is passionate about reusing the old, reworking what there is and figuring out tricky space planning problems. A former Rhodes University graduate in Art History and Visual Culture, alongside her interior design career, she has a natural understanding and intuitiveness to form, aesthetics and proportion. Problem solving and team building is one of her many strengths alongside her friendly, open and honest nature.
